Letters from Iwo Jima (2006)

The defeat of the Battle of Midway directly declared the defeat of the Japanese army in the Pacific battlefield. The stubborn Japanese army still held on to Iwo Jima, the southernmost island in Japan. This seemingly inconspicuous island actually staged the most tragic war in the Pacific during World War II.
