Kikujiro (1999)

Summer vacation has arrived. Masao (played by Yusuke Sekiguchi), a third-year elementary school student who lost his father when he was young, now lives with his grandma. Summer vacation is particularly boring. He took out the letter his mother sent back from other places and prepared to go to Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture to visit his mother alone.
