Queen of Katwe (2016)

This film is adapted from the experience of chess prodigy Fiona Mutasi. Fiona was born in Katui, the largest slum in Uganda. The local church provides rice porridge to people who come to learn chess. After entering the chess class, her talented chess player improved her skills and eventually represented her country in the international chess world.
