War of the Worlds (2005)

Ray Ferrell (Tom Cruise) divorced his wife, and his son and daughter live with their mother - because of his playfulness, laziness and neglect of responsibilities, the family is so fragmented. The disaster of an alien invasion allowed them to re-establish a close relationship.
