"11 Episodes of Dogs' Hearts was said to have a "crying index exceeding 90%" when it was released in Japan. It received an excellent reputation and triggered a wave of reflections and responses on caring for life. It was even recognized and recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The filming of the second episode has been confirmed and is currently under intensive planning. It is expected to be released in the summer of 2006."
