The Cannonball Run (1981)

A group of racers from all over the world participate in an illegal race from the east coast to the west coast of the United States. Each player competes to win. Because some people who opposed the racing took a politician's assistant hostage, which led to a police investigation, all the contestants worked together to break through the police roadblock.
