In Shanghai in 1941, China's Anti-Japanese War had lasted four years. With the outbreak of the Pacific War and Britain and the United States joining the war, the lives of Westerners in Shanghai's foreign concessions also experienced tremendous turmoil. 11-year-old Jamie was one of them.
